Whale Stamp

This week I carved a whale stamp. I love looking at pictures of whales swimming. So majestic, beautiful and serene. Whales swim past Sydney seasonally but I just never seem to time my seaside visits with theirs. Maybe this year?

  2. Oh wow, it's amazing! I'm still waiting for my supplies to arrive so I can get carving again.

My Bug and I saw a whale at Lorne on the Great Ocean Road when he was 2 1/2, and we still talk about how it waved its tail at us ;)

  3. WOW!! Gorgeous, beautful whale. I love the way you can see his belly and fins, flippers? What do you call those things on the side of a whale? :)

(I had a whale poster hanging in my first appartement and tried to memorize the latin names. This one was the first - and last - that stuck)
